Teen Read Week!

Holy Teen Read Week, Batman! Have you heard what's going on at the Ira Township Library?! The St. Clair County Library System's Teen Read extravaganza will be taking place October 19th-24^th. This year's theme for the annual event is "Read beyond Reality," which serves as a gateway into the wide and uncharted world of Science Fiction writing. From Isaac Asimov to the undead land of zombies, H.G. Wells to the exotic life (or lack thereof) of vampires, plus monsters, super heroes, and fairies, oh my! Ira Township Library is your portal into the outer realm. And what would a good celebration be without games and prizes? Most notably, partaking in the “I Spy Sci-Fi” quiz will earn you a shot at winning a Barnes and Noble gift card. So pack up your Sci-Fi smarts, grab a few friends, and fly on over to your local library to get in on the action. Teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate. Keep in mind, resistance is futile. And as far as the competition goes, may the force be with you.
